Illinois Freemasonry Launch Cooperative Membership EffortDuring the Grand Communications in October, Illinois’ Grand Lodge, Grand Chapter, Grand Council, Grand Commandery, Scottish Rite Valleys and Eastern Star Grand Chapter signed a proclamation that will unify our membership process efforts. The title of this process is “It’s About Membership,” and will provide all Masonic bodies in Illinois with an effective membership system. Our first goal will be to recruit a selected number of men to work in teams to present the process in as many sites as necessary in order to propagate the system throughout Illinois. The basic programme includes recruitment, assimilation or incorporation, enrichment and reclamation. In the next few weeks, training classes will begin throughout the state.
